Sariah was chosen as the recipient of the Super Eagle Award for her Kindergarten Class!!! This of course was for the month of March! Due to the fact, that I have been so SLOW about updating our family blog, it doesn't get the recognition it deserves until now.
Sariah worked extremely hard for the third quarter of the school year and has made vast improvements! We are all very proud of her and her accomplishment!

Sariah: Spotlight Student of the Week
Sariah was chosen to be the "Spotlight Student" for the week of October 31st through November 4th. The School PTO tries to give each student this special honor during the school year. Sariah was fortunate enough to recieve the week of Halloween!
My two munchkins excited to be eating lunch together at the school. Ammon sure misses the presence of his three wild sisters throughout the day, to be eating lunch with Sariah was a real treat! So on this day we ate "SCHOOL LUNCH" with Sariah, which again was a HUGE DEAL because Sariah always has HOME LUNCH. Due to the fact that she was Spotlight Student for her class we were invited to eat lunch with her up on the school stage in the Cafeteria. We were served a cheesehamburger, orange slices, tator tots and a carton of chocolate milk...YUM! Not so suprisingly I ate ALL the food! Ammon ate all his orange slices and a few tator tots. Sariah ate a majority of her food, but as you can see below she was so thrilled with being able to be the Spotlight Student.
I had so much fun eating lunch with her at the school! I love how she was SO EXCITED to have Ammon and I their to witness her special event! This is surely an event I will remember.
Sariah at the microphone in front of her peers on the school cafeteria stage asking for the "mermaid cheer!" It was magical to see her face light up! She recieved a blue sour sugar coated twizzler and a pencil for all her hard work in Kindergarten!

Our Sweetheart Enjoys Her 5th Birthday
We celebrated Sariah's 5th Birthday on September 5th (Labor Day Weekend). Sariah had a blast on her SPECIAL Day! We invited some of her friends over for cupcakes and rootbeer floats (the rootbeer floats were provided by our Dear Military Relations Missionary Couple the Websters). She was very happy with the gift Dallas and I purchased for her, a new bike! She rode her bike around the culdesac and up and down the street with her sisters that evening.
Sariah's Birthday Dinner request...Pork Chops with Cream of Mushroom Gravy, Rice and Vegetables. She gobbled up every bit of it and I am grateful! She wanted EVERYONE to wear a Birthday Hat and was SO excited to blow out her birthday candles!
Because I am such an AWESOME Mother I made cupcakes for her to share with her class the following day at school. Sariah was very pleased with me! I am SO GLAD Sariah is part of our ETERNAL family, she brings so much excitement and is such a JOY! These past five years have been GREAT... I have been able to witness Sariah grow! She is a wonderful Ballet Dancer and is EXTEMEMELY RAMBUNCTIOUS, but that is what I love about her ...her abiltity to drive me crazy! We Love You Sweetheart!

Ballet & Tap
Sariah began ballet and tap two weeks ago and has loved every minute of it! She especially loves her ballet and tap shoes! She loves pointing her toes, standing on her toes (she was even told by her teacher she was standing too high on her toes), standing with her feet in a "V" like position and hearing the sound of her shoes tap against the hardwood floor. I think she is a natural. She is without a doubt the most beautiful four year old in her class. I hope she continues to enjoy dancing because I enjoy watching her excel.

She loves to stretch and point her little toes.

Sariah dances the first thirty minutes in her ballet shoes and then it is onto her tap shoes. Here she is jumping with her feet in and out along the red line.

Getting a good look at herself in the mirror. I love how her tag is hanging out. She looks so cute!

We look forward to her first performance in December.

Princess Sariah Turns 4!
This was a Princess Birthday Party at the request of Sariah...everything pink and glittery! Fifteen children showed up to this wonderful party and things managed to all work out thanks to some wonderful helping hands! I seriously could not have done this party alone, so thank you!
Sariah has been anticipating this party for quite sometime now and made several request, which I tried to fulfill. The list goes;
1. She wanted a Princess Birthday
2. Pink Princess cake
3. A pinata filled with candy
4. A trip to Chuckie Cheeses, which I am still working on.

Auntie LaLa is responsible for this ADORABLE Princess Birthday T-Shirt! It reads, "Princess Sariah" in the bottom front and "Birthday Girl" in the back

This little guy has plans to marry Sariah someday! How cute is that?!

Everything Princess!

"Say Cheese!"

Blowing out the Birthday Candle.

Beating the Princess Tiara Pinata

"Educational" Princess Computer from Dad and Mom

Princess stickers and accessories from Sadie, Sophie & Ammon.

Trying on her new shoes from Rocky, Chelsea, Tysho, Lincoln, and Maelee. Sariah was in HEAVEN!

So many gifts! Thank you!

I think she had a wonderful time. Happy Birthday Sweetheart!
Love,
Dad, Mom, Sadie, Sophie & Ammon

A Haircut & Cowgirl Boots

All I could hear was the sound of a slow and steady snip, snip, snip as Sariah and Ammon sat in the "Princess Tent." "Sariah!" I yelled as I sat on the sofa, no more than five feet away, typing on my laptop. "What are you doing?!" "I be a mermaid" was Sariah's simple reply. To which, I replied, "What!?" "You better not be playing with the scissor!"
The rest, as you probably can tell, is history! Sariah gave herself a new haircut! And yes she thinks she looks fabulous! She is the least bit phased, which I guess is a good thing.

For those who know Sariah's love for shoes, you will simply love what you are about to read! Yesterday, we went to a Boot Store in Elizabethtown to purchase Dallas a Stetson (Calvary Officers wear Steston's with their Dress Blues). While waiting for Dallas' Stetson we roamed the store and checked out the merchandise. I came across some children's boots, which were marked half off! Luckily they had Sariah's size and since our beloved daughter simply LOVES & ADORES SHOES I had her try on a pair, which she loved! The boots, by the way, were only twenty-five dollars! Sariah proudly proclaims she is now a "Cowgirl!"

Sariah's 3rd Birthday Party
Our Sweatheart Sariah turns 3 on the 5th of September, but since Dallas will be out in the field starting Monday, we thought Thursday night would be an appropriate time to celebrate Sariah's special day! We started the Birthday Festivities with pizza and a movie "Race To Witch Mountain" followed by cake and gifts. Sariah has been extremely anxious for her "own" birthday party!

"It's my Birthday, yay!"

Sariah picked out her own cake mix, frosting and sprinkles. She was very excited to blow out her candle!

This summer Dallas read the girls "The Witches" by Roald Dahl, we all enjoyed this book very much! Shortly after reading the book we rented the movie and the girls compared, which they liked better. The book was by far better than the movie! Sariah, especially, loved the Grand High Witch! Everything from that moment on became the Grand High Witch, which is why we bought her this extremely cute costume to play in!

Look at those cute feet.

Here is Sariah in her Fairy Costume! Isn't she adorable! She loves to twirl and twirl until she becomes very dizzy!
Sariah we are so very grateful to have you in our family! You bring such a sweet and energetic spirit into our home everytime you smile! Your laughter is contagious and we love you dearly for it!

Sariah ate two slices of birthday cake before heading to bed! Isn't that awesome?!

We love you Sweetheart, Daddy, Mommy, Sadie, Sophie & Ammon

Sariah's Potty Training Days
Last Monday, Sariah began her potty training. It's been a week now and she is doing remarkably well, there have been a few accidents, but overall she is having success! Dallas and I are very happy! Sariah is also very proud of her progress! To celebrate her day of going potty in the toilet, last Monday for FHE we went to Wal-Mart, where Sariah picked out her prize. She chose the movie Anastasia. Way to go Sariah! We love you so very much! Mom, Dad, Sadie, Sophie & Ammon
