Sadie was chosen for Student of the Month; for the month of May! Dallas and I could not be any more proud for her achievement! We arrived early for her assembly and were there when they called her name on stage! Sadie was happy and nervous and could not smile very much for the camera, but that is ok. In preparation for this day she carefully picked out her outfit and accessories so that she would look "extra special."
We are so grateful for the hard work Sadie does at school and at home. She is such a wonderful big sister for her younger siblings!

Sadie received two certificates (one from the school and one from Papa Johns), a Papa Johns gift certificate, bumper sticker, and a pencil! Sadie asked if Dallas could wear the green apple, which read
" Proud Parent of a Student of the Month"... Dallas wore it very proudly.
Back in February, each class at Hale Kula Elementary was asked to draw a poster that demonstrated "No Bullying." Sadie's poster was picked and she received 2nd place! When I talked to the school counselor, he explained to me that Sadie's poster was chosen because it had such vibrant colors and displayed the theme very well. Sadie explained to me that the girl in the poster is non other than Sophie. How cute is that?! Sadie's poster now PROUDLY hangs in the third grade hallway! Way to go Sadie! You amaze us everyday!
