Learning Moments With Dad

Dallas is such a wonderful Father. He takes time out of his busy schedule to teach our children important life skills, like changing the brake light on our trailblazer! Love you so much Dallas!

A Bowling Birthday Party for Sophie!

Since Dallas was away at the National Training Center in Ft. Irwin California during Sophie's "real" birthday we decided to wait and have the party until he got home. Sophie invited five friends to share in her special party; Rose, Natalie, Savannah, Zoe, and Jennifer. The girls and our family bowled for about forty-five minutes and then had pizza and cake, which was then followed by opening of the gifts! Sophie received some very wonderful gifts from her friends! After that was done we continued to bowl for the remainder of the party. Here are some pictures of the party:

Student of the Month

Sadie was chosen for Student of the Month; for the month of May! Dallas and I could not be any more proud for her achievement! We arrived early for her assembly and were there when they called her name on stage! Sadie was happy and nervous and could not smile very much for the camera, but that is ok. In preparation for this day she carefully picked out her outfit and accessories so that she would look "extra special."
We are so grateful for the hard work Sadie does at school and at home. She is such a wonderful big sister for her younger siblings!

Sadie received two certificates (one from the school and one from Papa Johns), a Papa Johns gift certificate, bumper sticker, and a pencil! Sadie asked if Dallas could wear the green apple, which read " Proud Parent of a Student of the Month"... Dallas wore it very proudly.

Back in February, each class at Hale Kula Elementary was asked to draw a poster that demonstrated "No Bullying." Sadie's poster was picked and she received 2nd place! When I talked to the school counselor, he explained to me that Sadie's poster was chosen because it had such vibrant colors and displayed the theme very well. Sadie explained to me that the girl in the poster is non other than Sophie. How cute is that?! Sadie's poster now PROUDLY hangs in the third grade hallway! Way to go Sadie! You amaze us everyday!

Sophie on Two Wheels!

Sophie has conquered the world of bike riding! No more training wheels! For those who don't know our belongings have been in storage for a year and this is the first time Sophie has had the chance to ride her bike!

We are so proud of her accomplishment! We knew she could do it! Dallas was the "patient one" to teach Sophie!

Great Job Sophie! We love you!
