Ammon Climbing the Stairs

Here is a video clip of Ammon climbing the stairs immediately following the awesome fade Dallas gave him. Ammon started 'Army' crawling two weeks ago, and regular crawling two days ago. He prefers to stand and walk along the furniture rather than crawl.

Pioneer "Children Sang As They Walked And Walked And Walked"

Yesterday, we celebrated Pioneer Day here in Kentucky! We had a wonderful dinner at ten in the morning, which included delicious shredded pork, followed by some games outdoors. I am really enjoying our new ward..they are such nice people and many are in the same situation Dallas and I find our family in...the Army! My favorite picture in this post is of Sophie roping the steer! She is so awesome! Love you Sophie.

Beach Party at Doe Valley

The girls and I plus Ammon attended our first Enrichment Activity a week and a half ago near Brandenburg, which is about twenty miles from Ft. Knox. We had such a fun time! Although it was a lot of work to get there and be there, the trip was so worth it! The kids had a fun time swimming in the lake and baking in the sun! I packed a light lunch, which turned out to be awesome!
A side note: I have the greatest Relief Society President! She helped me so much. She pushed my stroller up a steep hill and helped me gather the kids and our belongings! So sweet. Thank you Sister Lee.

"All Tuckered Out"

I don't know how, but all three managed to sleep in Sadie's twin size bed!

M1-A1 Abrahms

Dallas started his Armor School Training on July 1st and has thus far enjoyed it immensely! He talks of nothing else...that brings me joy because I know he is enjoying his training. Just to be sure I got all the info. correct I had Dallas walk me through the pictures and such! We hope Tysho, Lincoln and Papa Gilmore enjoy.

Birthday Gifts from the Tano's

Sadie received several of her Birthday gifts through the mail, this included Sadie's gift from the Tano's. After two weeks of anticpation and several e-mails from Auntie Chelsea we finally received the gifts!

Sadie opening her first package. An "Easy Bake, Cake Decorating Kit", that included several cake decorating tips! We had fun decorating several cupcakes! A side note Sariah was a little jealous that she had nothing to open...she was fine!

Looks delicious Sadie!

Scrumpdilyumptious!! A work of art! I think she takes after Moi!

Sadie with her second package. The ever exciting "Bendaroos!" Sadie and Sophie had a blast creating, unfortunately I was unable to take any pictures!

Thank you so much Auntie Chelsea, Uncle Rocky, Tysho, Lincoln, and Sweet Lil' MaeLee! We Love You!

"Happy Birthday Grandma Gilmore!"

Wishing Grandma Gilmore a special "Happy Birthday!" At your request we spent the day having some fun! We thought a trip to the theatre to watch Ice Age 3 and a delicious dinner at Olive Garden would be perfect. The girls were way excited and enjoyed the show and treats immensely! We enjoyed eating at Olive Garden!

Visit From Grandpa & Grandma K

After a nonstop twenty hour drive from Arizona to Kentucky my parents and three siblings arrived early morning Sunday "bright eyed and bushy tailed!" We were all very excited to have them in our home! It's been two and a half months since we've seen them so, as always it was wonderful! It was tricky getting seven adults and four children ready for church that morning, especially since our home has one bathroom, but surprisingly enough we did it and made it to church on time!
Much rest was needed after church and that is exactly what happened! For dinner Dallas grilled up hamburgers, steak, and salmon while I prepared tortillas, rice, and watermelon. After dinner we enjoyed roasting marshmallows and catching fireflies with the kids! My siblings were impressed with the fireflies. My heart was full of joy watching them run up and down the hill catching the fireflies with my children.

This has to be one of my all-time favorite pictures! This is my Dad with his dirty socks holding Ammon!

My Dad with Ammon, they never left each other's side!

Sadie, Auntie LaLa and Dallas roasting marshmallows. Dallas shared Grandma Lorene's story of roasting the perfect marshmallow, that is completely burning the marshmallow so all the sugar is absorbed.

On Monday, after Dallas' wonderful breakfast we all got ready and headed for the Louisville Zoo. We all enjoyed the trip to the zoo!

Sariah's love for animals amazes me! She was totally enraptured with the gorilla.
